Strategic Fleet Planning & P&L Ownership

  • Asset Lifecycle Management: Develop the strategy for fleet acquisition, replacement, and disposal to maximize ROI on 40' assets
  • Financial Oversight: Full accountability for the Fleet Department’s budget, focusing on reducing total cost of ownership (TCO).
  • Scaling Operations: Design and implement scalable processes to grow the fleet size in alignment with Myanmar’s market demand.

Risk Management & Compliance

  • Security & Continuity: Develop contingency plans for navigating Myanmar’s evolving road security landscape to ensure cargo and driver safety.
  •  Regulatory Liaison: Act as the primary point of contact for high-level regulatory compliance, weight-station negotiations, and transport permits

Organizational Leadership

  • Culture Building: Foster a culture of safety, accountability, and professionalism across the driver pool and office staff.
  • Talent Pipeline: Oversight of the training academy for heavy-truck drivers to ensure a steady supply of qualified operators for 40' vehicles.

Business Expansion & Strategic Growth

  • Lead the expansion of our logistics footprint by negotiating high-value service contracts and aligning fleet deployment with regional infrastructure developments and emerging trade corridors.

Job Requirements

Essential Requirements

  • Minimum of 10+ years of experience in this role.
  • Leadership Skills, Negotiation Skills and Decision-Making Skills.
  • Knowledge of transport methods, costs and benefits
  • Knowledge of maintenance, effective and efficient costs
  • Knowledge of road transport administration skills
  • Ability to work well with others
  • An established network within the Myanmar Ministry of Transport, local authorities, and major parts suppliers

Additional (Basic) Requirement

  • Any University graduate, logistics, supply chain, risk management and master degree are as a plus.
  • Computer software programs such as Microsoft office, PowerPoint.
  • Good reading and writing ability in English language.
  • Willing to learn attitude, positive thinking and long-term work with company.
  • Proven experience in identifying, developing, and executing successful business development strategies.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment.
