Leads the strategic and daily execution of the bakery chain. They oversee store performance, central kitchen production, supply chain, and profitability. This executive role ensures seamless coordination between retail, marketing, and baking teams.

Job Description

  • Oversee daily operations of all BreadTalk outlets, central kitchen, and production facilities. 
  • Esure consistent product quality, food safety, hygiene, and compliance with company SOPs. 
  • Develop and implement operational strategies to improve efficiency, productivity, and profitability. 
  • Manage outlet managers, production managers, and support teams across multiple locations. 
  • Monitor sales performance, operating costs, labor productivity, and inventory levels. 
  • Drive customer service excellence and maintain brand standards across all outlets. 
  • Plan manpower requirements, staff scheduling, recruitment, training, and performance management. 
  • Coordinate with production, supply chain, procurement, marketing, and finance departments. 
  • Analyze operational KPIs and prepare management reports. 
  • Lead new store openings, renovations, and operational improvement projects. 
  • Handle customer feedback and resolve operational issues effectively. 
  • Ensure compliance with food safety regulations, workplace safety, and company policies.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Hospitality Management, or related field.
  • Food Safety Management (HACCP, ISO 22000, Food Safety Supervisor, etc.)
  • 8–15+ years of experience in F&B, bakery, retail, or multi-unit operations.
  • Strong analytical, budgeting, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Experience managing multiple outlets and large teams.
  • Strong leadership and people-management skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and reporting tools
  • Strong knowledge of multi-site F&B and retail operations, bakery production management, food safety standards (HACCP).
  • Quality assurance, supply chain and inventory control, budgeting and P&L management, operational KPI monitoring, customer service excellence, workforce planning, leadership development, process improvement.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, POS systems, ERP software, and operational reporting tools.
