A Big Opportunity for ...

We are currently looking for a HR Business Partner position. The position is to be based in Yangon, Myanmar and reporting to the Project Director.

 

The HR Business Partner will play a crucial role in executing HR functions that are aligned as well as providing essential compliance advisory to the management team of the project owner. Key responsibilities will include cultivating a positive and inclusive work culture, implementing HR programs, and offering strategic HR support to the designated project owner.

 

Responsibilities

  • Lead the insourced HR Operation Team
  • Establish and maintain a positive work environment
  • Maintain and update all company HR policies and procedures.  
  • Roll out internal training on company policies/procedures and legal compliance.  
  • Assist with Training Needs Analyses, development of Training Plans and Directories and maintain training records.   
  • Keep all information up to date and in order and create reports from HRIS for data analysis, additional reports as requested from time to time.
  • Attending meetings and hearings, taking minutes and producing written reports and management information as required.
  • Partner with managers on providing advice on all employment relations matters.
  • Facilitating disciplinarily meetings, redundancies and terminations from time to time. Ensure all documentation is legally compliant and best practice.
  • Actively participate in promoting health and safety in the workplace and encouraging others to do the same.
  • Take part in health and safety initiatives, such as workplace inspections, hazard identification and others as required.
  • Ensure all work is carried out in a safe manner in line with Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality consciousness.
  • Advise management of any changes in materials, plant or processes which  may impact on safety, quality or the environment
  • Liaise with external supplier and facilitate visa applications as needed.
  • Assist with relocation of expatriate if coming from oversea.

Job Requirements

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Business Administration, Commerce, Economics and Law  
  • 5-7  years of experience in HR domain as generalist positions or in a related role
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks with sense of urgency
  • Have a heart for people, genuine concern for employees
  • Strong knowledge in local employment laws, labor regulations
  • Strong interpersonal skills to maintain positive relationships with employees
  • Experience with HRIS systems and proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Languages: English. Knowledge of Spanish will be considered valuable.
  • Working Days: Monday to Saturday
  • Location: Insein Township, Yangon
