Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement and monitor HSE policies, procedures, and site-specific safety plans
  • Conduct daily site safety inspections and report unsafe acts or conditions
  • Ensure compliance with local HSE laws, regulations, and company standards
  • Conduct risk assessments, Job Safety Analysis (JSA), and toolbox talks
  • Investigate incidents, accidents, and near misses; prepare reports and corrective actions
  • Monitor use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
  • Provide HSE training and safety inductions to employees and subcontractors
  • Coordinate emergency response plans and conduct drills
  • Maintain HSE records, permits, and documentation
  • Promote safety awareness and a positive safety culture on site
  • Liaise with management, engineers, supervisors, and regulatory authorities

Job Requirements

Education & Qualifications:

  • Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Safety Engineering, Environmental Science, or related field
  • NEBOSH IGC, OSHA, IOSH, or equivalent HSE certification (mandatory)
  • First Aid and Fire Fighting certification (preferred)

Experience:

  • Minimum 3–5 years of experience as an HSE Supervisor or Safety Officer
  • Experience in construction, oil & gas, industrial, or manufacturing projects preferred
