Job Description

  • Meet with clients to understand design needs, preferences, budget, and project scope
  • Develop interior design concepts, layouts, mood boards, and space planning
  • Prepare detailed drawings, 3D visualizations, and material specifications
  • Select furniture, fixtures, finishes, colors, lighting, and accessories
  • Coordinate with architects, engineers, contractors, and suppliers
  • Prepare cost estimates and assist in budget control
  • Supervise site execution to ensure designs are implemented correctly
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards, building codes, and regulations
  • Manage multiple projects and meet project deadlines

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Interior Design, Architecture, or related field
  • Minimum 2–5 years of experience in interior design (depending on seniority)
  • Experience in residential, commercial, or corporate projects preferred
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, 3Ds Max, Revit, or similar design software
  • Knowledge of materials, finishes, furniture, and lighting systems
  • Ability to prepare detailed drawings and presentations
  • Strong creativity and design sense
  • Good communication and client-handling skills
  • Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
