Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced IT Manager to be responsible and accountable for the smooth running of our company and clients’ IT systems within the limits of requirements, specifications, costs and timelines. You will supervise the administration of network and server infrastructure within all client sites, planning of technology projects, managing team of company’s IT professionals, implementing technology security and the execution of all technology-related tasks and initiatives.

The successful candidate will have improved skills, a proven professional experience and a detailed knowledge of industry’s best practice processes. He/she will also serve as a project manager when company carries out the projects.

Responsibilities

• Manage information technology and company’s IT & ELV operations

• Integrate information technologies into the company for optimal effectiveness

• Plan, organize, control and evaluate IT operations and projects

• Provide technology strategy planning

• Supervise Helpdesk support operations at the client sites

• Research new technologies to implement for the company and projects

• Understand current and future business goals and ongoing IT issues to ensure business success

• Manage IT staff by recruiting, training and coaching employees, communicating job expectations and appraising their performance

• Design, develop, implement and coordinate systems, policies and procedures

• Provide clear analytical reports related to all IT activities to Management

• Ensure security of data, network access and backup systems

• Act in alignment with user needs and system functionality to contribute to organizational policy

• Identify problematic areas and implement strategic solutions in time

• Audit systems and assess their outcomes

• Preserve assets, information security and control structures

• Handle annual budget and ensure cost effectiveness

• Collect quotations from different vendors and provide competitive quotations to the clients

Job Requirements

• Bachelor Degree or Master Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or similar field

• Proven working experience as an IT Manager or relevant experience for 5 years at least

• Excellent knowledge of technical management, information analysis and of computer hardware/software systems

• Expertise in data centre management and data governance

• Hands-on experience with computer networks, VoIP, network administration and network installation

• In-depth knowledge in either of Office 365, Azure, Google Cloud, AWS, VM-Ware, Cisco is an advantage

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills both Myanmar and English

• Good presentation skill and marketing concept

• Able to clearly communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences

• Ability to manage workloads and work under pressure

• Ability to manage personnel
