Position Purpose
The Modern Trade Channel continues to grow and play a significant role for the JTI business. With the growing importance it will require an incumbent to support the Key Account Manager in developing Modern Trade Channel growth strategies and managing Direct Sales Operations with Key Account retailers.
Performance Tracking & Reporting Management
• Develop and maintain business intelligence reports that are useful for the Key Account team to supervise the operations and JTI performance in Key Account channel by tracking the key performance indicators and market insights from system, Key Account Executives and Key Account retailers
• Develop and maintain management reports that provide information about different aspects of the business to help the leadership make better informed decisions
Negotiations Planning
• Ensure to follow the defined pre-negotiation checklist with the respective Key Account Executive to help the Key Account team to plan effective negotiations i.e. variables planning, objection management, trading proposal and NOAP
• Run a retrospective after every negotiations to discuss how the team can improve the ways of working and establish the improvement areas for the next iteration
Internal Alignments
• Act as a point of contact between the Key Account Team and other functions as and when is required by business i.e. with Trade Marketing for program/POSM alignment, with Finance for APAR financial management, with Demand Planning for logistics operations management
Budget Management
• Oversee the expenditure tracking of assigned accounts in accordance with the planned budget, commercial agendas and when relevant, propose the budget utilization in case of any major shortfall
• Track both regular and ad-hoc spendings of assigned accounts on a monthly basis to ensure the planned budget is well-utilized
