Job Description

A Big Opportunity for ...

Execute the pre-order process by preparing purchase orders and coordinating with manufacturers.
Manage pre-order planning activities to ensure continuous product availability and prevent low inventory levels or stockouts.
Plan, manage, and evaluate logistics operations in coordination with external stakeholders.
Collaborate with internal departments (Sales, Warehouse, and Finance) to align inventory levels and optimize order fulfillment processes.
Monitor and manage inventory levels to prevent stockouts, overstocking, and product expiry risks.
Ensure inventory accuracy and oversee stock movements with the support of the sales team.
Ensure full compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and pharmaceutical industry standards.
Monitor logistics performance including quality, quantity, delivery timelines, and transportation costs.
Negotiate freight rates, contracts, and service agreements with logistics providers and transport vendors.
Recommend optimal transportation modes, routes, and delivery schedules to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
Resolve issues related to transportation, logistics systems, imports/exports, and distribution challenges.
Review and analyze the impact of logistics changes (e.g., routing, shipping methods, volume changes, carriers) and report findings to management.
Develop and implement solutions to logistics problems to ensure smooth and timely product delivery.
Maintain logistics metrics, reports, and documentation to support performance tracking and decision-making.
Stay updated on industry trends, innovations, and best practices to continuously improve logistics strategies and operations.

Job Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in any subject, or a related field.
Minimum 5 years of experience in logistics or supply chain management.
Preferably in the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry.
Strong knowledge of inventory management, transportation, and distribution systems.
Familiarity regulatory requirements in pharmaceutical logistics.
Excellent communication skills and negotiation skills.
