Roles & Responsibilities

1. Project Planning, Support & Monitoring

  • Support the planning, coordination, and execution of projects across MDG and its business units.

  • Monitor and track project progress against approved timelines, milestones, deliverables, and objectives.

  • Collect and consolidate project updates from project owners and respective teams.

  • Maintain project plans, action logs, issue trackers, dashboards, and other project documentation.

  • Follow up regularly with project owners to ensure timely completion of assigned activities.

  • Identify project delays, risks, and issues and escalate them to the relevant stakeholders.

2. Cross-Functional Coordination

  • Act as a coordination point between project teams, business units, and support functions.

  • Coordinate with relevant departments to manage project dependencies and ensure smooth execution.

  • Facilitate effective communication and information flow among project stakeholders.

  • Coordinate project meetings, workshops, and review sessions.

  • Prepare meeting minutes and track agreed action items through to completion.

  • Follow up with responsible persons to ensure action items are completed within the agreed timelines.

3. Project Reporting & Performance Monitoring

  • Collect and consolidate project status updates, timelines, risks, issues, budgets, and key performance indicators.

  • Prepare regular project status reports, dashboards, presentations, and management summaries.

  • Monitor project performance against agreed objectives, milestones, and KPIs.

  • Provide timely visibility to management regarding project progress, risks, issues, and required actions.

  • Ensure project reports and records are accurate, complete, and consistently maintained.

4. Project Operations & Business Support

  • Coordinate with relevant functions such as Procurement, Finance, R&D, IT, HR, Admin, and other departments to support project requirements.

  • Follow up on operational dependencies that may affect project timelines or deliverables.

  • Support project teams in coordinating resources, materials, documentation, and other operational requirements.

  • Assist in resolving cross-functional issues and escalate matters that require management attention.

  • Support the implementation of projects across different business units in accordance with agreed plans and requirements.

5. PMO Governance & Process Improvement

  • Support the implementation and continuous improvement of PMO processes, tools, templates, and reporting standards.

  • Ensure projects follow established PMO processes, documentation requirements, and governance standards.

  • Promote consistent project planning, monitoring, reporting, and documentation practices across business units.

  • Identify opportunities to improve project management efficiency, tracking, communication, and coordination.

  • Support the development and standardization of project management tools, templates, and best practices.

  • Maintain a centralized and up-to-date record of project information for management review and decision-making.
