Job Description

Review existing stores' product offerings
Evaluate and make suggestions for new product offerings based on consumer research
Perform consumer research to determine product demand
Examine promotion details and resolve any pricing discrepancies if needed
Provide all the needed information on products, their prices and promotion
Monitor product sales
Reporting to Line Manager the purchasing of goods based on market supply chain requirements
Handle all customer inquiries and requests
Provide samples for customers such as promotion periods
Planning the purchasing of goods based on market supply chain requirements
Scouting and qualification of best suppliers in terms of quality-cost ratio
Negotiating with small suppliers and contractual conditions, i.e. time, cost, quantities, delivery terms
Arranging for supplier contract process till to complete organize with Yangon Merchandising Team
Managing purchases and inputting orders and details using management software
Producing reports on merchandising department activities
Visit stores to see the opportunity to improve merchandising related matters
Work closely with Store, Distribution Center and Supplier to optimize the supply chain to shorten inventory days
Negotiating with major suppliers to get the lowest possible price, higher margin
Analyzing market trends
Update alternative way to get the stock or find new local suppliers for better outcome
Monitoring deliveries and stock levels
Perform any other related tasks as assigned by line manager or management team

Job Requirements

Any Graduate, Diploma/Certificate in Merchandising will be advantage
Minimum 3 years working of experience in related field, retail background will be preferable
Excellent communication skills, problem solving skills, negotiation skills and analytical skills
Advanced at MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
