Job Description

A Fantastic Opportunity for ...

  1. Prepare  mine development plans, evaluate contractor bids, and heavy equipment specifications to guarantee technical feasibility, operational efficiency, and cost-effectiveness.
  2. Support development and design of all mine operations infrastructure 
  3. Develop, analyze, and verify comprehensive project cost estimations, and operational expenditures perform to support long-term budgetary planning and ensure project feasibility.
  4. Review, verify, and approve or reject financial variation claims submitted by contractors to minimize cost overruns and protect the project budget.
  5. Serve as the principal technical liaison for contractors, joint-venture partners, and external vendors; oversee deliverables to ensure projects remain on schedule and meet quality benchmarks.
  6. Establish and collaborative relationships with relevant government bodies, regulatory ministries, and local communities
  7. Secure necessary regulatory approvals, manage compliance, and drive corporate social responsibility (CSR) initiatives to ensure smooth operations.
  8. Continuously assess operational workflows and engineering plans to identify technical or community-related risks.
  9. Work on a team to procurement all mine equipment and develop maintenance agreements.
  10. Review progress and cost tracking reports and make corrections to execution as required.
  11. Investigate incidents, near misses, damage or delays at construction sites, to ensure that proper procedures are being carried out.

Job Requirements

  1. Bachelor’s Degree in Mining Engineering, or B.Sc. / B.E. (Geology / Geological Engineering). A valid Professional Engineer (PE) license is preferred.
  2.  5 to 8 years of proven experience in mining operations, with a minimum of 1 years directly specialized in coal mining experience,
  3. Cost estimation/budgeting, and stakeholder liaison.
  4. Exceptional negotiation, conflict-resolution, and public relations skills to engage firmly with contractors,
  5. Handle community/governmental, and defend the Owner’s financial and regulatory interests.
  6. Able to  interpret technical documents such as plans, specifications, procedures and manuals
  7. Able to communicate effectively in presentations and written technical reports
  8. Able to communicate with Myanmar and English
  9. Willing to Travel for vising project site
