  • Administer, maintain, and optimize Server operating systems to ensure availability, reliability, and performance.
  • Manage VMware virtualization infrastructure, monitor server health, system performance, storage utilization, and capacity planning.
  • Administer and maintain database servers including Microsoft SQL Server, MySQL/MariaDB, Oracle and PostgreSQL.
  • Support and maintain database replication, high availability, clustering, and failover technologies where applicable.
  • Perform preventive maintenance and operating system hardening according to security standards.
  • Monitor servers and databases using enterprise monitoring tools.
  • Troubleshoot servers, virtualization, storage, and infrastructure issues.
  • Participate in infrastructure implementation, migration, and upgrade projects.

Job Requirements

  • Any bachelor’s degree and preferred IT related degree. IT Diploma holders with relevant experience are also encouraged to apply.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in Server OS, Database and VMware environments.
  • Having knowledge of VMware, Linux OS, Windows OS, Oracle, Microsoft SQL Server, MySQL/MariaDB, or PostgreSQL administration.
  • Experience with Microsoft SQL Server Always-on Availability Groups, Failover Cluster Instance (FCI), and Disaster Recovery solutions.
  • Experience with enterprise storage (SAN/NAS), backup software, and virtualization platforms
  • Knowledge of cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud)
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
