This position is for Mandalay Location.

  • Develop and implement lesson plans and instructional materials for Myanmar language and culture courses prescribed by the School’s Myanmar Language and Culture Department.

  • Teach the Myanmar language, literature, history, and culture to students.

  • Use various teaching methods to engage students in learning, including games, role-playing, and cultural activities.

  • Assess students' learning and provide feedback to students and parents/guardians on their progress.

  • Collaborate with other teachers and administrators to promote academic excellence.

  • Participate in departmental and school-wide meetings and professional development opportunities.

  • Communicate regularly with parents and guardians regarding student progress and performance.

  • Keep accurate records of student grades, attendance, and performance.

  • Participate in professional development programs deemed appropriate by the school.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Myanmar language, Literature, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience teaching Myanmar language and culture.

  • Strong knowledge of Myanmar language, literature, history, and culture.

  • Ability to create engaging and effective lesson plans and teaching materials.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and administrators.

  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.

  • Strong command of academic English, both spoken and written.
