Job Purpose

Network Engineers are responsible for setting up and maintaining the day-to-day operation of Data Center and branch networks.

Designing, Implementing and administering Intranet, Extranet, Local Area Network, Wide Area Network

Documentation, Inventory updates

Work with all levels of staff within and outside of Technology Function and external organization

Key Responsibilities

• Installing, configuring, maintaining network devices including routers, switches, Wireless , Firewalls
• Maximize the network services stability in Hub and Spoke network, Data Center network
• Configure, operate and maintain firewalls to maximize network efficiency and security
• Troubleshooting, diagnosing, resolving the network problems and identify the potential issues
• Monitor the network errors, performance issues and escalate the alerts when required
• Backup configurations and consistency checks
• Regular patching and updates as per schedule
• Basic Knowledge of Cloud network components / concepts
• Collect statistics and generate regular health check report 
• Implementing data, network security measures for Multi-cloud architecture
• Deliver the network services to meet the project timeline
• Manage cable contractors in structured cabling 
• Documentation and inventory updates

• Diploma in Network Engineering or Bachelor Degree in Engineering / IT related field
• Prefer certified network professional in CISCO (CCNA or CCNP) , Next Generation Firewalls
• Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in a similar role.
• Good understanding of network system, architecture and services, network security, proxy, and firewall.
• Working Knowledge of Cisco LAN, WAN, Wireless
• Hub and spoke WAN topology
• Experience with IPS/IDS and Various NAC solutions
