Roles and Responsibilities

1. Trial Run & Commissioning

• Supervise equipment installation, testing, trial runs, and commissioning.
• Coordinate with machine suppliers/vendors for alignment, utility connections, and commissioning activities.
• Record operating parameters and evaluate machine performance during trial production.

2. Tube Filling & Sealing Machine

• Adjust filling volume, heating temperature, pressure, and sealing parameters.
• Check tube feeding, alignment, coding, batch number, and expiry date systems.
• Troubleshoot leakage, sealing defects, filling errors, and machine jams.
• Manage change parts efficiently to reduce machine changeover time.

3. Vacuum Emulsifying Mixer

• Inspect and maintain vacuum, mixing, and homogenizing systems.
• Ensure proper operation of heating and cooling systems. ​​​​​

4. Utility System Management

Oil-Free Air Compressor

• Monitor air pressure, leakage, filters, and drainage systems.
• Perform routine and preventive maintenance.

EDI / Purified Water System

• Monitor pumps, pressure, water production, and distribution systems.
• Coordinate sanitization activities with QA and Production.
• Maintain water treatment equipment, filters, RO membranes, and EDI systems.

HVAC System

• Monitor temperature, airflow, filter condition, and overall HVAC equipment performance.
• Carry out required engineering maintenance.

5. Breakdown & Troubleshooting

• Respond promptly to machine breakdowns during production.
• Troubleshoot basic mechanical, pneumatic, electrical, and control system issues.
• Report major breakdowns to the Factory Manager.
• Coordinate with vendors or external technicians when required.
• Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.

6. GMP & Documentation Support

• Ensure engineering and maintenance activities comply with GMP requirements.
• Maintain equipment logbooks, maintenance, calibration, and repair records.
• Coordinate with QA for equipment change control activities.

• B.E. in Mechanical Engineering preferred.
• Minimum 3–5 years of engineering experience.

• Experience in the following areas will be an advantage:

• Manufacturing plants
• Pharmaceutical, food, or cosmetic factories
