Job Summary:

As a Procurement Manager, you will be responsible for managing the end-to-end sourcing and procurement of key raw materials (coffee, tea) and packaging materials (pouches, cartons, films) from overseas. You will be responsible for building relationships with global suppliers, negotiating contracts, and ensuring efficient supply chain operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Sourcing: Develop and execute international sourcing strategies to secure high-quality raw materials (coffee/tea) and innovative, cost-effective packaging materials.
  • Vendor Management: Cultivate and maintain high-value relationships with global suppliers; conduct regular performance audits, capacity planning, and contract negotiations to secure priority access, favorable pricing, and flexible terms.
  • Contract Negotiation: Lead complex negotiations regarding unit pricing, credit/payment terms, Incoterms, and rigorous Service Level Agreements (SLAs) to protect organizational interests and mitigate supply risks.
  • Quality Assurance: Partner closely with the Quality Control and R&D teams to ensure all imported raw materials and packaging substrates meet strict food safety standards, sensory requirements, and brand specifications.
  • Cost Management: Implement data-driven cost-saving initiatives without compromising quality, proactively managing the Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) across the entire procurement lifecycle.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all international procurement and import activities fully comply with trade regulations, customs requirements, and industry-specific sustainability/ethical certifications (e.g., Fair Trade, Organic, Rainforest Alliance, FSC).

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum 8 years of total procurement experience, with at least 5–7 years specifically within the beverage industry (coffee, tea, or related sectors).
  • Proven track record in international sourcing, with deep knowledge of import regulations, customs procedures, and Incoterms.
  • Expertise in contract negotiation and vendor management.
  • Excellent communication skills (Business proficiency in English).
