Job Summary
Assistant Procurement Manager at Gandamar Shwe Pyi, Yangon (Pazundaung), will manage day-to-day procurement for fleet, warehouse, operations, and office needs. The role covers sourcing, negotiation, PO processing, supplier coordination, and reporting to support efficient, cost-effective operations.

• Handle daily procurement requests from fleet, warehouse, operations, and office teams.
• Source suppliers and collect quotations for required goods and services.
• Prepare quotation comparisons and purchase recommendations.
• Negotiate prices, payment terms, delivery timelines, and service conditions.
• Prepare purchase orders and ensure proper approval before purchasing.
• Follow up with suppliers to ensure on-time delivery.
• Purchase fleet-related items such as spare parts, tires, batteries, lubricants, tools, and maintenance supplies.
• Coordinate with fleet team for urgent vehicle repair and maintenance requirements.
• Purchase warehouse supplies such as packaging materials, pallets, PPE, cleaning items, tools, equipment, and operational consumables.
• Coordinate with warehouse team to avoid shortages of critical materials.
• Maintain supplier database and identify new reliable vendors.
• Evaluate supplier performance based on price, quality, delivery, and service.
• Coordinate with finance for invoice checking, payment documents, and supplier payment follow-up.
• Maintain proper procurement records, including PR, PO, quotations, invoices, delivery notes, and supplier documents.
• Prepare weekly or monthly procurement reports as required by management.
• Support cost-saving initiatives and procurement process improvement.
• Ensure all procurement activities are transparent, properly documented, and aligned with company policy.

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Business, Supply Chain, Logistics, Accounting, Engineering, or related field.

• Minimum 2–4 years of procurement or purchasing experience.

• Experience in logistics, transportation, fleet, warehouse, or operations industry preferred.

• Knowledge of vehicle spare parts, tires, lubricants, and warehouse supplies is an advantage.

• Strong negotiation, supplier coordination, communication, and teamwork skills.

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, email, and basic reporting.

• Able to work under pressure and manage urgent purchase requests.

• Honest, organized, detail-oriented, and responsible.
