Strategic Procurement

• Develop and implement procurement strategies that are innovative, cost-effective, and incorporate growing and reliable sources of supply.
• Negotiate contracts, pricing, terms, and conditions with suppliers to secure advantageous terms.
• Monitor market trends, currency fluctuations, and geopolitical events that may impact supply chains.  Evaluate supplier performance based on quality standards, delivery punctuality, and cost competitiveness.
• Import & Export Operations
• Oversee all shipping and logistics activities, ensuring timely customs clearance for inbound and outbound shipments.
• Ensure accurate and timely preparation of all shipping documentation (Certificate of Origin, Bill of Lading, Commercial Invoices, Packing Lists, etc.). 
• Manage relationships with freight forwarders, shipping agents, customs brokers, and government authorities. 
• Ensure full compliance with HS Code classifications, duty calculations, and trade agreements to optimize duty payments.
• Coordinate with sales and production teams to align export schedules with customer requirements.  Compliance & Risk Management
• Ensure all import/export activities comply with local and international trade laws, sanctions, and embargoes.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of changes in customs regulations, tariffs, and trade agreements.
• Mitigate risks related to supply chain disruptions, supplier bankruptcy, or logistical bottlenecks.
• Team Leadership & Reporting  Lead, mentor, and manage the procurement and logistics team.
• Prepare regular reports on procurement activities, cost savings, shipping status, and KPIs for senior management.
• Collaborate with finance for timely payments and cost allocation.

Education Background:

• Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Master's degree or professional certification (CIPS, CSCP, |or equivalent) is a strong advantage. (More prefer)

Other Qualification:

• Diploma in Management of Supply Chain & Logistics

Working Experiences:

• At least (5) years’ experience in Managerial Position
• At least (10) years’ experience in related background
• Proven experience in negotiating with international vendors and managing freight forwarders.
• Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Odoo) is required.

Language Skills:

• Fluency in English (written and spoken) is mandatory (for international correspondence and documentation).
• Proficiency in the local language is required.
•  Knowledge of a third language (e.g., Mandarin) is a plus.

IT Skills:

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Experience with Supply Chain Management (SCM) software.
• Familiarity with customs clearance software and portals.
• Other Essential Knowledge Area:
• Deep understanding of international trade finance (LCs, Knowledge Area: Bank Guarantees).
• Comprehensive knowledge of customs valuation and HS tariff |classification.
• Strong negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a team.
