Job Requirements
Education and Experience
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Petroleum Engineering Preferred).
• Minimum five years of relevant experience in the oil and gas industry, preferably in production engineering, well operations, or offshore production operations.
• Sound knowledge of production engineering, well-performance monitoring, well integrity, reservoir fundamentals, drilling, and well-completion principles.
• Practical knowledge or experience in well-intervention activities, including workovers, wireline operations, well testing, and well-maintenance activities.
• Good understanding of applicable oil and gas industry standards, regulatory obligations, HSE requirements, and company compliance requirements.
Technical and Professional Competency
• Ability to analyze well-performance and production data, identify operational constraints or abnormal trends, and develop practical recommendations.
• Ability to prepare clear production reports, technical documents, work scopes, intervention programs, and approval submissions.
• Good command of written and spoken English.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and working knowledge of CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System); familiarity with production-data management or well-performance analysis systems is an advantage.
• Strong written and verbal communication, coordination, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in multidisciplinary and multicultural teams.
• Ability to coordinate contractors and provide field supervision or technical support for well-maintenance and intervention activities.
• Proactive, accountable, and safety-focused approach to work, with good problem-solving and teamwork capabilities.
• Willingness and ability to undertake offshore assignments and site visits as operationally required, subject to applicable offshore medical and safety requirements.
• Valid BOSIET or equivalent offshore safety training certification is preferred but is not mandatory at the time of application.
