Job Description

A Fantastic Opportunity for ...

  • Design the electrical systems of the Wastewater Treatment Plant (WWTP), including wiring, control panels, and motor systems.
  • Prepare and develop Single Line Diagrams (SLD) and Electrical Layout Drawings.
  • Define electrical power requirements, including power supply specifications and voltage ratings, and develop suitable electrical plans.
  • Select appropriate circuit protection devices, including cable sizes, circuit breakers, timers, and PLC systems.
  • Install and perform electrical connections for major equipment such as pump motors, blowers, and other mechanical systems.
  • Carry out proper installation and connection of cable routing systems, trunking, and conduit pipes.
  • Perform installation of control panels and integration of programmed automation systems (PLC).
  • Inspect and verify electrical connections of sensors, including flow sensors, level sensors, float switches, and pressure sensors.
  • Conduct testing and commissioning to ensure the system operates safely and efficiently.
  • Prepare and submit weekly progress reports and project documentation.
  • Develop and implement preventive maintenance plans for installed electrical equipment.
  • Perform emergency repairs and fault rectification in a timely manner.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering (B.E / B.Tech – Electrical Power).
  • Knowledge and practical experience in PLC programming and Electrical CAD software.
  • Ability to perform fault diagnosis and troubleshooting of electrical systems.
  • Strong communication skills with project teams, clients, and contractors.
  • Ability to explain and report the condition and performance of electrical systems clearly and effectively.
