Function: Project Delivery Control
Reports to: Infrastructure and Property Development Lead
Job Summary:
The Project Control Coordinator supports the Project Lead in maintaining clear visibility and control of overall project delivery by tracking project actions, following up with cross-functional teams, monitoring issues and delays, maintaining change control, and providing timely project status information for management decision-making.
The Project Control Coordinator will work closely with project managers, cross functional team, and stakeholders to maintain transparent, accurate, and realistic project schedules.
Key Responsibilities
1. Project Action & Task Control
• Develop & Maintain Master Plan Action Register
• Track actions, responsibilities, target dates and completion status
• Follow up on outstanding and overdue actions
• Ensure actions are properly closed and documented
2. Cross Functional Coordination for Project Status Update
• Follow up with project functions including Design, Procurements, Construction, IT, Operations, Equipment and other relating stakeholders
• Monitor interdependencies between teams
• Identify actions requiring coordination or intervention
3. Issue & Blocker Control
• Maintain Project Issue/ Blocker Register
• Identify the reason, responsible party, impact and next action for delayed or blocked activities
• Monitor resolution and escalate critical issues to Project Lead
4. Change Control
• Maintain Project Change Register
• Track change requests from identification through assessment, approval,implementation and closure
• Coordinate required information regarding scope, cost and schedule impacts
5. Project Status Reporting
• Prepare regular project delivery status reports
• Highlight overdue actions, critical issues, pending decisions, changes and key risks
• Provide concise information to support Project Lead decision making and intervention
6. Project Control System Development
• Establish and continuously improve project control processes, registers, dashboards and reporting systems
• Develop practical digital tools and systems to improve project visibility, follow up and reporting
• Promote a consistent approach to project status tracking across functions
