Job Overview:

The Purchaser is responsible for sourcing, purchasing, and ensuring the timely supply of products, materials, equipment, and services required for company operations. The role involves negotiating with suppliers, monitoring inventory levels, comparing prices and quality, and maintaining effective relationships with vendors to achieve cost efficiency and operational effectiveness

• Develop and implement procurement strategies to meet business needs and objectives.
• Conduct market analysis and research to identify new suppliers and sourcing opportunities.
• Identify, evaluate, and onboard reliable suppliers of raw materials, components, and services.
• Negotiate favorable contracts, pricing, and terms for goods and services.
• Manage the end-to-end procurement process, including sourcing, ordering, and inventory control.
• Ensure materials and components are delivered on time to avoid production delays
• Coordinate with internal teams (e.g., Production, Logistics, Finance) to synchronize procurement and manufacturing needs.
• Collaborate with the production team to forecast material requirements based on production schedules.

• Minimum [3] years of experience in pharmaceutical procurement, with strong knowledge of government tender operations and supplier management.
• Excellent communication skills, problem solving skills and negotiation skills
• Advanced at MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Must be willing to work shifts/flexible to work overtime as often as required
• Any Graduate, Diploma/Certificate in Merchandising will be advantage
• Good command of English (listening, speaking, reading, and writing).
