Job Description

An Exciting Opportunity for ...

  • Budget
    • Plan & deliver Monthly & Annual budgeted revenues & Gross profit
  • KRA's
  • Define KRA's for the Sales Team, review monitor progress quarterly
  • Sales Team KPI's (Sales/Strike Rate / Distribution / Account Receivable/ Active Coverage etc.). Drive cost control Measures & plan delivery within Budgeted CPC
  • Sales Team working norms (field working/reporting etc.)
  • SOP's
    • Monthly & Weekly Business Review Meetings with Sales Team
    • Define SOPs for the Sales Team & ensure implementation / enforcement
    • Plan monitor & control the sales & distribution, merchandizing & trade promotions
    • Develop systems & processes to monitoring & control Sales Team operations
  • Productivity
    • Increase Productivity of the Sales Team, by effectively engaging with the team.
    • Increase average Sale per Sales Person per month, and improve ROS (Rate of Sales per outlet) by engaging with the marketing Team, to drive greater depletions.
  • Distribution Expansion
    • To increase Outlet Coverage across all potential outlets, and increasing the width and the depth of the VMG portfolio across all SKU’s.
  • Employee Attrition Rate
    • Reduce Attrition Rate of Managers & above by maintaining the great working atmosphere & employee engagement.
  • Financial Hygiene
    • Ensure on time payment collection as per credit terms of the company per customer & ensure zero bad debt (%)
  • Team Building
    • Recruit, train & deploy competent personnel in the team
    • Organize structured training sessions for field force on selling / negotiation skills & product knowledge through internal / external agency once in six months
    • Provide On the Job Training (OJT) to the Sales Team.
    • Target to have informal meeting with each direct report once a month.
    • Facilitate informal interaction amongst employees by organizing outdoor activities/sports.  
    • Recruitment/Training/Onboarding for new employees 
  • Communication
    • Ensure effective internal within various departments] & External [ with the business partners, customers] written and verbal communication.
    • Interact with the team on regular frequency & build interpersonal relations
  •  
  • Competition
    • Gather Monthly market intelligence on competitor's activities & take counter action. Report to management on all competition activities with proper analysis of such activities and its impact.
  • MIS
    • Standardize MIS & reporting formats
    • Keep track of all relevant sales data & all other information for business planning
    • Analyze data & propose action plan
  • Rewards & Recognitions
    • Build a culture of high Performance & Pay for Performance, in the team
    • Rewards & Recognitions / Awards (certificates / abroad trips Etc.)
    • Ongoing Incentives Schemes. Special Incentives for local creative activity & initiatives
  • Other Activities
    • Define levels & grades with salary bands
    • Plan Promotions / De motions / Transfers / Terminations
    • Plan Trade Promotion activities, loyalty schemes etc. with marketing department
    • Brand building activities & promotions
    • CRM activities for Key Customers
    • Monthly Management Meeting to review Operations & Financials
    • New Product Development /launch
    • Business Development-Distribution of third-Party products
  • Relationship
    • Build a strong relationship with customers, and ensure visiting monthly Top wholesalers, retailer, TONT Outlets, LQ

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor and/or Master degree in Business/ Marketing or comparable
  • 7+ years of relevant experience in solution selling and business development within Alcohol/ FMCG/Retail/Distribution companies and Retail sectors.
  • Knowledge of Data Analytical & BI will have added advantage.
  • Strong presentation skills (written and verbal)
  • Strong negotiating and influencing skills
  • Excellent in communication and engagement skills
  • Experience in managing a high-performance Sales team
  • Equally confident in English besides Myanmar language
  • Sound knowledge of creating Power Point presentations, Excel, Word etc.
  • Commercial and brand knowledge
  • Willing to spend evenings and weekends working
