Job Description

  • Identify and engage potential clients, understanding their technical needs and requirements.
  • Provide expert-level technical support and consultation during the sales process.
  • Prepare and deliver technical presentations and product demonstrations to prospective clients.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to develop and execute strategic sales plans.
  • Customize product solutions to meet specific customer needs and specifications.
  • Serve as the primary technical resource for clients, addressing inquiries and troubleshooting issues.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers, ensuring their satisfaction and long-term engagement.
  • Work closely with product development teams to provide customer feedback and insights.
  • Assist in the preparation of technical proposals, quotes, and sales contracts.
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends, technologies, and competitor products to effectively position the company’s offerings.
  • Provide post-sales support and follow-up to ensure successful product implementation and customer satisfaction.
  • Train customers on the use and maintenance of products, as needed.
  • Attend industry events, trade shows, and conferences to represent the company and network with potential clients.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
  • Proven experience as a Sales Engineer or in a technical sales role.
  • Strong technical knowledge in the industry relevant to the company’s products.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex technical information clearly.
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with customers and understand their needs.
  • Experience with customer relationship management (CRM) software.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think creatively to develop customer solutions.
  • Willingness to travel as needed to meet with clients and attend industry events.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Sales-driven with a strong business acumen and understanding of sales processes.
  • Technical certifications related to the industry or product line (preferred).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software tools.
