Sales & Business Development

  • Develop and execute sales strategies for commercial trucks and buses in line with company objectives.
  • Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets (unit sales, revenue, and margin).
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities with fleet customers, logistics companies, construction firms, government projects, and transport operators.
  • Manage key accounts and maintain long-term relationships with corporate and institutional clients.
  • Lead tender participation, quotation preparation, pricing negotiation, and contract closure.

Team Management

  • Lead, coach, and manage the commercial vehicle sales team.
  • Set individual KPIs, monitor performance, and conduct regular performance reviews.
  • Provide product, sales technique, and market training to the sales team.
  • Ensure discipline, motivation, and professional conduct within the team.

Dealer & Channel Management

  • Support and manage dealer sales performance for trucks and buses.
  • Coordinate with dealers on stock planning, test drives, demos, and customer visits.
  • Monitor dealer pipeline, retail activities, and conversion rates.
  • Resolve dealer and customer issues related to sales, delivery, and documentation.

Market & Product Management

  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, pricing, and promotions.
  • Provide market feedback to management on product demand, specifications, and customer preferences.
  • Coordinate with marketing for campaigns, roadshows, exhibitions, and product launches.
  • Support product positioning and value proposition for different customer segments.

Cross-Functional Coordination

  • Work closely with aftersales, finance, leasing, and operations teams to ensure smooth order fulfillment and customer satisfaction.
  • Coordinate vehicle availability, delivery schedules, and registration processes.
  • Support credit, leasing, and financing solutions for customers where applicable.

Reporting & Compliance

  • Prepare regular sales reports, forecasts, and pipeline updates.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, pricing guidelines, and ethical standards.
  • Maintain accurate customer data and CRM records.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering, or related field.
  • MBA or professional sales certification is an advantage.
  • Minimum 5–8 years of experience in automotive sales, preferably in commercial trucks and buses.
  • Proven experience in fleet sales, B2B sales, or institutional sales.
  • At least 2–3 years in a sales leadership or managerial role.
  • Frequent travel within assigned territories.
  • Strong leadership and people management skills.
  • Excellent negotiation, presentation, and closing skills.
  • Deep understanding of commercial vehicle products and applications.
  • Strong network within fleet, logistics, construction, or transport industries.
  • Analytical skills for sales forecasting and performance tracking.
  • Proficient in MS Office and CRM systems.
  • Growth of fleet and key account sales.
  • Sales team performance and productivity.
  • Dealer performance and market coverage.
  • Customer satisfaction and retention rate.
  • Flexible working hours based on business and customer requirements.
