Senior Accountant (Textile Factory)

We are seeking a capable Senior Accountant to oversee inventory accounting, cost and expense control, and full-set accounting for our textile manufacturing operations. This role ensures the accuracy of financial data while maintaining strong internal controls.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead inventory accounting and control, ensuring accurate and timely stock records.

• Monitor raw materials, work-in-progress, and finished goods movement in coordination with warehouse and production teams.

• Review daily stock in/out, stock adjustments, wastage, and reconcile physical vs. system inventory.

• Manage expense and cost recording across procurement, production, logistics, and factory operations.

• Review sales and income records, ensuring accurate revenue recognition and supporting documents.

• Prepare inventory valuation, cost allocation, and monthly management reports.

• Review delivery notes, stock transfers, material usage reports, and supplier invoices.

• Maintain strong internal controls for stock, materials, expenses, income, and fixed assets.

• Support monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing processes.

• Prepare discrepancy reports and follow up on corrective actions.

• Handle full-set accounting, including AP, AR, GL, bank reconciliation, and financial closing.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; LCCI III (UK) required; ACCA preferred.

• Minimum 5 years of accounting experience, preferably in manufacturing.

• Solid knowledge of full-set accounting and accounting standards.

• Proficiency in accounting software (SQL is a plus).

• Strong accuracy, analytical skills, responsibility, and confidentiality.

• Able to work independently, manage multiple tasks, and meet deadlines.
