Job Description

An Exciting Opportunity for ...

• Oversee the procurement, registration, and eventual disposal or sale of company vehicles.
• Manage vehicle assignments for departments, ensuring optimal utilization and minimizing "idle" time.
• Implement and monitor fuel card systems and consumption patterns to identify curb wastage or theft.
• Establish and enforce a rigorous maintenance calendar to minimize downtime and repair costs.
• Ensure all drivers are trained in defensive driving and that vehicles meet all local safety standards.
• Lead investigations into vehicle incidents and coordinate with insurance providers for swift claim settlements.
• Prepare annual Opex and Capex budgets for the fleet department.
• Manage contracts with workshops, leasing companies, and fuel suppliers. Conduct periodic performance reviews to ensure service level agreements
(SLAs) are met.
• Draft and update the Corporate Vehicle Policy (CVP) regarding personal use, maintenance responsibilities, and driver conduct.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business Admin, or related field.
  • 4–6 years in fleet management or corporate administration
  • Proficiency in Fleet Management Software (FMS), GPS tracking systems, and Advanced Excel.
  • Strong negotiation tactics, crisis management, and the ability to lead a team of drivers/dispatchers.
