1. Structural Design & Analysis

• Lead the design of structural systems for buildings, bridges, industrial facilities, and other civil engineering projects.
• Perform structural analysis using advanced engineering software (e.g., ETABS, SAP2000, STAAD.Pro, SAFE).
• Review and optimize design calculations to ensure efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and compliance with applicable codes (e.g., Eurocode, ACI, BS, UBC).
• Select appropriate construction materials and ensure proper structural detailing.
   

2. Technical Documentation & Review

• Prepare detailed design drawings, specifications, and calculation reports.
• Review and approve design submissions from junior engineers and external consultants.
• Conduct design risk assessments and prepare structural integrity reports.
   

3. Project Coordination

• Work closely with architects, MEP engineers, geotechnical teams, and project managers to integrate structural design into overall project plans.
• Attend design coordination meetings and site visits to address design-related issues.
• Provide technical guidance and mentoring to junior structural engineers and draftsmen.
   

4. Quality & Compliance

• Ensure all structural designs meet quality standards, safety requirements, and regulatory guidelines.
• Coordinate with authorities for design approval and ensure compliance with permit conditions.
• Stay updated with latest structural engineering trends, materials, and technologies.
   

5. Site Support

• Provide technical assistance during construction to resolve structural-related queries.
• Review shop drawings and material submittals for compliance with design intent.
• Inspect critical structural elements during construction to ensure proper execution.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (Master’s preferred).
• Professional Engineer (PE) or Chartered Engineer status is an advantage.
• Minimum 7–10 years of experience in structural design for major construction projects.
• Strong knowledge of international building codes and standards.
• Proficiency in structural analysis and design software (ETABS, STAAD.Pro, SAFE, AutoCAD, Revit Structure).
• Experience in both steel and reinforced concrete structures.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and project management skills.
• Strong leadership, communication, and teamwork abilities.
