Job Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Solar Sales Engineer to join our team. The Solar Sales Engineer will be responsible for acquiring new customers and managing relationships with existing clients to drive sales of solar products and services. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in sales, excellent communication skills, and a passion for renewable energy.

 

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve revenue targets and expand the company's customer base.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities through prospecting, networking, and lead generation activities.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, providing exceptional service and support to address their needs and concerns.
  • Present solar products and services to potential customers, articulating the value proposition and benefits of solar energy solutions.
  • Prepare and deliver sales proposals, and presentations to prospective clients, personalized to their specific requirements and preferences.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, market developments, and competitor activities to identify opportunities for growth and differentiation
  • Monitor sales performance metrics and KPIs, analyzing data and trends to optimize sales strategies and achieve business objectives.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering (BE, B. Tech, AGTI).
  • Minimum of 1 years of experience in solar installation and sales, with a proven track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets.
  • Strong understanding of solar energy products and services, as well as the renewable energy industry.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and influence decision-makers.
  • Proven ability to develop and execute strategic sales plans, with a focus on customer acquisition and retention.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Willingness to travel as needed to meet with clients and attend industry events.
