Job Description

Provide best possible solution to given business requirements which must be cost effective, improve efficiency, validate against the architecture principles and roadmap, making sure solution is not silos in nature.
Provide leadership to the development team while working on in-house development and be able to work together with vendor architect or technical team for outsource projects.
Manage vendors during project delivery phase, ensuring all architecture quality indicators are met.
Be proactive and own non-functional technical requirements, such as security, performance, etc. of the solution provided. Also to make sure the solution is complied with internal policies or any regulations.
Coordinate and support intra team and work together to finetune/improve underlying IT infrastructure.
Coordinate and support Data team to identify current and future data needs and translate into data architecture and feed into overall EA roadmap. When required, support and work together on data models.
Knows the importance of documentation and make sure to document solution choices and architecture decisions.
Help improve architecture capability and maturity of the organization, help develop architecture framework (processes/principles/tools) for the organization
Where relevant, work as project manager for technical/architecture projects
Keep up with new technologies, trends and maintain regular effort to keep up-to-date

Job Requirements

Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or equivalent
3+ years of experience as Tech Lead/Software Engineer and 2+ years of experience as Solution Architect
Proven experience in blueprinting medium and large scale IS/IT projects
Good experience in any of popular DB server and query language
Prefer full-stack development experience with ability to show strong knowledge in at least one major programming languages and its ecosystem
Experience with Service Oriented Architecture (SOA), web services, ETL and other standard integration concepts/methods
Detail oriented individual with proven analytical skills
