Myanmar Survey Research (MSR) is seeking a strategic, highly analytical, and leadership-oriented Senior Research Manager to join our team. As we continue to evolve our data capabilities and uphold international standards, this role will be pivotal in delivering high-quality insights and driving the digital transformation of our research methodologies.

The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the Myanmar market, a commitment to global ethical standards (ICC/ESOMAR), and the technical curiosity to integrate AI and automated analytics into traditional research frameworks.

 

Job Summary
Lead marketing research projects from brief to insight delivery, ensuring high-quality analysis, strong client communication, and timely execution. You will manage research teams, translate data into actionable recommendations, and support business growth through evidence-based strategy.

Key Responsibilities
● Plan and manage quantitative and qualitative research projects from design to final reporting.
● Oversee survey execution, data quality, analysis, and insight generation for client presentations.
● Collaborate with clients to understand business objectives and shape effective research approaches.
● Lead, coach, and review the work of junior researchers and project support staff.
● Prepare clear reports, presentations, and strategic recommendations based on research findings.
● Track project timelines, budgets, and deliverables to ensure quality and on-time completion.

Job Requirements

● Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Economics, Statistics, or a related field.
● 5+ years of experience in marketing research, consumer insights, or related research roles.
● Proven experience managing research projects and coordinating cross-functional stakeholders.
● Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and turn it into practical insights.
● Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
● Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with research tools or statistical software is an advantage.
● Strong leadership, problem-solving, and presentation skills.
● Experience in a consulting or professional services environment is preferred.
