We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Card IT Technician to join our Cards and Payments team, A bank Head Office. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing technical aspects of projects related to POS/ATM acquiring, card issuing, and related financial systems. This role requires hands-on experience with testing, troubleshooting, and operational coordination to ensure successful project implementation and ongoing support.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Effectively communicate project goals, deliverables, and timelines to internal teams and external stakeholders.
  • Monitor project progress and escalate risks, delays, or issues to senior management as required.
  • Perform POS and ATM terminal installation, configuration, and testing.
  • Handle incident and dispute management with root cause analysis and timely resolution.
  • Coordinate and execute testing phases including SIT (System Integration Testing), UAT (User Acceptance Testing), and production pilot testing.
  • Create and maintain test cases, test plans, and test result documentation.
  • Collaborate with operations teams to gather feedback and resolve post-deployment issues.
  • Ensure clear communication and alignment among project team members, technical teams, and business users.

Job Specification

Educational Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline.
  • Additional certifications or diplomas in Information Technology or related fields are preferred.

    Experience:

  • Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in IT or technology environments, preferably involving complex project execution.
  • Experience in the financial services industry (banking, cards, payments, or insurance) is a strong advantage.
  • Prior involvement in POS, ATM acquiring, and card issuing projects is highly desirable.

    Skills & Competencies:

  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and external partners.
  • Solid understanding of project coordination, issue management, and user testing.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
