Category Management

  • Provide a detail analysis on actual sales vs forecast result and propose 3 months rolling channel or chain action plans to the management
  • Support sales team in Category Management by channel (Planograming + POSM+ Promotion and In store Activity) base on internal and external shopper base analysis
  • Work jointly with brand managers to assess category opportunities and analyze competitor & channel behavior for annual plan, forecast and identify areas of opportunity.
  • Plan, execute and evaluate options jointly with KAs for tailor made promotion to enhance retailers’ commitment and integrating promotion plans with marketing plans.
  • Selling Expense, pricing, forecasting, drafting of trade letter and premium sourcing with brand/KA managers.
  • Communicate to sales team on any marketing/trade marketing initiatives to ensure smooth operation during implementation.
  • Consolidation of Category forecast for supply chain
  • Work together with team member on POSM development and implementation.

Channel Management

  • Develop Channel Insight & understanding from real life customer perspective, identify channel Threat & Opportunities.  Ensure this understanding is shared and developed throughout the sales organization to support solution selling approach. Be the Channel champion within the organization.
  • Collaborate with Sales team in yearly Business Plan (IBP), develop channel & customers program and plan to support Sales Go to Market strategy and Brand Strategy
  • Define optimal product-basket (Must have SKU, Must Have Display) for the Channel, annual plans and channel budget
  • Manage the Key Customers Member Scheme, provide analysis and develop new scheme base on customers insight analysis, optimize sales growth.
  • Develop relevant Channel campaigns to support Channel penetration and growth, manage implementation and measurement, which includes all Material relevant to Channel
  • Support Sales team in Demand forecast with channel analysis and forecasting
  • Support MT team Joint Business Plan (JBP) with Key Customers including provide Sales data analysis (Sell out & Scan Sales), Category POG management and Customize In Store Activities

Trade Events/ Program Management

  • Responsible in developing Trade Events and Activity by channel base on channel/ customers insight analysis
  • Manages the point of sales material (POSM) including budgeting, allocation by Distributor & Customers, logistic arrangement and inventory management, drive execution efficiency.
  • Support the sales teams to turn the “selling stories” into sales tools to effectively present the brands, the products and the marketing initiatives to customers across channel
  • Support sales team in trade execution process from planning to execution reporting
  • Conduct Post Evaluation for Channel & Customers activities / Program, evaluate ROI and execution process for continuous improvement
  • Responsible and accountable in managing sales selling costs including budgeting, planning and tracking, ensuring trade spend within approved budget.
  • Compilation of Competitors activities, promotion, and products pricing, propose action to counter or react to competitor approached.

  • Any Bachelor Degree, Master Degree ideally in business administration is preferable.
  • Minimum 3 years of Trade Marketing experience as management reole in FMCG field.
  • Fluent in English.
  • High level of proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint General.
  • A solid track record of producing outstanding results.
  • Strong communication, presentation, developed analytical and project management skills.
