  • Directing activities related to dispatching, routing, and tracking of transportation.
  • Planning and monitoring inbound way and outgoing deliveries.
  • Planning and scheduling deliveries routes.
  • Maintaining and updating records of vehicle maintenance, repairs, fuel consumption, and expenses.
  • Monitoring and updating delivery schedules to ensure timely and efficient delivery of goods.
  • Responding to customer inquiries and resolving any delivery-related issues.
  • Planning, organizing, and managing subordinate staff members to ensure work is completed and with the company's standards.
  • Working with other departments to incorporate logistics with company procedures and operations.
  • Monitor transportation costs and identify opportunities for cost savings
  • Complying with transportation-related policies, as well as safety rules and government regulations. Overall management of transportation of two warehouses.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in logistics, business management or related field.
  • At least 5 years’ experience as a transportation manager role in a similar industry.
  • Solid knowledge of the transportation industry and logistics.
  • Experience working with transportation-related government regulations.
  • Ability to work well with team members and navigate stressful situations.
  • Excellent leadership skills.
