ROLE PURPOSE

The Vice President - Channel Integration & Capability is responsible for ensuring that products and services enabled for agent and partner channels are operationally ready, effectively integrated, and consistently delivered from a business perspective. The role acts as the business integrator between Community Banking operations, Technology, Product, and external partners (including Wave), focusing on readiness, production stability, and operational excellence.

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead channel readiness assessments from a business perspective by evaluating operational capability, service coverage, control requirements, and delivery impact of systems and products across agent and partner channels.
  • Ensure new or enhanced services are operationally viable before rollout, with clear roles, controls, and execution readiness.
  • Coordinate product and service integration across channels by aligning business operations with Technology, Product, Finance, and Wave teams.
  • Ensure agreed system flows, accounting treatments, settlement logic, and operating models are practical, documented, and fit for day-to-day delivery.
  • Oversee transition into production by monitoring live channel operations, identifying process gaps, and coordinating issue resolution with relevant stakeholders.
  • Drive operational streamlining and continuous process improvements to maintain service continuity, efficiency, and risk control in the production environment.
  • Establish and maintain business operating standards through SOPs, control procedures, and operating manuals for agent and partner channels.
  • Deliver structured training and knowledge transfer to end users and operations teams to ensure consistent execution and service quality across channels.
  • Act as the primary business interface for channel delivery matters across Community Banking, Technology, Product, Operations, Finance, Risk, and external partners.
  • Support the VP– Channel Distribution & Delivery in channel rollout planning, delivery governance, and operational reporting.

Job Requirements

Education & Special Training

Essential

  • Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Business Intelligence, Economics, Finance, or a related field.

Desirable

  • Master’s degree (MBA or equivalent). Professional training or certification in banking operations, process improvement, or project management.

Experience

Essential

  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in banking operations, channel delivery, or business enablement roles.
  • Demonstrated experience managing production readiness, service rollouts, and operational stabilization.
  • Experience working in cross-functional environments involving technology and external partners.

Desirable

  • Prior exposure to large-scale channel rollout or transformation initiatives.

Knowledge & Skills

Essential

  • Strong understanding of banking operations, channel delivery models, and partner-based distribution.
  • Solid knowledge of end-to-end system flows, settlement and accounting treatments from a business perspective.
  • Proven ability to coordinate across Business, Technology, Product, Finance, and external partners.
  • Solid understanding of KPI frameworks, scorecards, and performance governance.
  • Strong process management, issue resolution, and operational readiness skills.

Desirable

  • Exposure to digital banking platforms, or MFS ecosystems.
  • Experience in SOP development, operational controls, and service rollout governance.

Languages

Essential

  • Proficiency in Myanmar and English (spoken and written).
