Key Responsibilities

• Consolidate branch cash requirements and prepare divisional cash demand forecasts for notes and coins by denomination.
• Plan cash collection, redistribution, and deployment across branches, service points, ATMs, and cash centers within the division.
• Monitor branch cash holdings, vault balances, excess cash positions, shortages, damaged notes, and idle cash trends.
• Coordinate with Head Office, treasury, and logistics providers on cash replenishment, withdrawals, emergency shipments, inter-branch transfers, and bulk cash movement approvals.
• Ensure branch compliance with cash holding limits, dual custody, vault controls, CIT procedures, ATM cash planning controls, and currency handling SOPs.
• Analyze seasonal cash demand drivers such as salary cycles, festivals, agriculture harvest cycles, school periods, and regional business activity.
• Support branch operations in managing note quality, counterfeit note escalation, surplus remittance planning, and branch cash contingency arrangements.
• Prepare regular reports on cash utilization, branch cash efficiency, ATM cash-outs, excess cash, and currency operations incidents.
• Coordinate branch readiness for high-demand periods, emergency events, and business continuity scenarios affecting cash access.
• Recommend improvements to cash deployment efficiency, branch cash productivity, and service reliability.

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, banking, accounting, operations, or related discipline.
• Preferably 3–5 years of relevant banking experience in branch operations, cash operations, treasury support, ATM operations, or currency management.
• Good understanding of cash forecasting, branch cash controls, and operational risk in currency handling.
• Strong planning and operational coordination capability.
• Numerically strong with good MIS skills.
• High discipline in control-sensitive physical cash processes.
• Ability to respond quickly during cash shortages or service disruptions.
