POSITION PURPOSE
BI Analyst will be responsible for providing in depth analysis to various business questions faced by the organization. He / she will work in close coordination with Business Units to help them in achieving their KPIs efficiently and to address their problems through robust and quality analysis. BI Analyst will establish Analysis team as an expert team capable of providing answers to all Business Questions.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Implement reporting tasks as per business requirements and ensure they are automated and generated as per requested schedule
• Execute one off data extraction and manipulation jobs as required.
• Work closely with the IT Team to validate any scripts produced and understand the performance impact on the source databases.
• Proactively identify trends and issues.
• Ensure that any data integrity issues are reported immediately and summarized weekly to management and others authorized to receive this information.
• Any other tasks as directed by Head of Business Intelligence.

FUNCTIONAL SKILLS/ KNOWLEDGE AREAS
• Provide input to all strategic business questions of the organization requiring a thorough analysis and insight for decision making
• Responsible for regular reports and KPI monitoring for various areas of business
• Work as a key partner for brand reviews, brand positioning workshops, strategy discussions etc.
• Actively work on routine and ad hoc data and business projects involving querying from the data warehouse.
• Liaise with the Head of Product & Head if Business Intelligence on the construction of data extraction queries, reports and automation to ensure compliance with quality standards and established methods.
• Take ownership of production and testing of data operations reports using provided data sources and tools (SQL Server, PowerQuery, PowerPivot.)
• Should have strong quantitative & analytical skills
• Strong MS Office and SQL experience.
• Have good communication & presentation skills
• Process oriented approach towards problem solving
• Should be able to analyze, understand and recommend solutions to complex problems
• Ability to follow, adopt, recommend and promote standards regarding the use of data querying and visualization tools and regularly run SQL jobs.
• Must take the initiative to ensure that technical knowledge relevant to this role stays current and in line with industry developments.
• Be aware of key business and team objectives and ensure that these are applied appropriately to all business activities.
• Able to anticipate and understand customer expectations, and ensure that customer requirements are met and expectations appropriately managed.

EDUCATION & PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATION
• Technical qualification in a relevant field

• At least 3 years working with data bases (SQL)
• Database Architecture
• SQL Server, Data Conversion
• Business Analytics / Date Mining
• Data Cleansing Methodologies
