Internal/External Interactions

Internal
- Provide the in-country CFO, Group CIO and Group IT Operations manager with status updates, strategy and plans on a frequent basis
- Coordinate with Group IT Operations team members on a daily/weekly basis
- Coordinate with in-country IT Operations team member on a daily basis

External
- Build, develop and grow any business relationships vital to the success of IT systems

Functional Responsibilities
- Analyze needs of users and departments, prioritize modifications to core systems in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders
- Manage system expectations with team members and other stakeholders
- Contribute information and recommendations to strategic plans and reviews

Technical Responsibilities:

- Define strategic requirements and resources that support the IT systems
- Conduct audits; identify trends, determine system improvements, implement change
- Test and install new technology
- Develop and implement documentation requirements for problem resolution.
- Reduce risk of failure through continuous improvement
- Define and adjust IT standards and technologies
- Reduce risk of failure through continuous improvement
- Conduct training as necessary
- Define and adjust IT standards and technologies.

•Travel Requirements:
· Visits to other group/customer/vendor sites locally and nationally may be required
· Although based in-country, visits to other group/customer/vendor sites regionally and globally may be required from time to time

• Bachelor degree in Information Technology (or) Computer Science
• Demonstrate a solid track record of IT infrastructure rollouts and maintenance
• At least 3 years in IT system Administration role
• At least 2 year in IT management role
• Excellent communication and command or written and spoken English
• Computer literate for MS word , Excel and Outlook.
• A "can do" attitude, willing to keep trying and learning
