Job Description

A Fantastic Opportunity for ...

  • Administrative Management (90%): Executive office administration, document control, and managing schedules. This includes serving as the lead for all Government Office visits and submissions.
  • Language Services: Providing fluent Burmese to English translation for all office correspondence and official paperwork.
  • Scan and digitize all physical government correspondence to maintain a searchable electronic backup · Legal Support (10%): Assisting with the basic filing of legal documents and ensuring a general understanding of regulatory compliance during government interactions.
  • Maintain a detailed tracking log of all documents submitted to government departments (tracking submission dates, receipt numbers, and expected approval dates)
  • Prepare weekly status reports for management regarding the progress of government applications.

Job Requirements

  • Education: University Degree holder with a strong foundation in Admin/Operations.
  • Experience: Proven experience in administrative roles and a track record of working successfully with government departments.
  • Creating a tracking system (like an Excel sheet) to show exactly where each document is, who received it, and when the next follow-up date is
  • Adaptive thinking—finding a way to get the missing info or providing an alternative solution on the spot
  • Mastery of both Burmese typing systems and the ability to format official letters (using the correct "Dear Sir/Madam" protocols) is vital
  • Excellent negotiation and interpersonal skills for government interaction
  • Advanced Burmese typing skills (Unicode/Zawgyi) and professional letter-writing.
  • Strong organizational habits; ability to track multiple application statuses simultaneously.
  • High level of patience and persistence.
