Job Summary:
The Assistant Business Development Manager will support the Business Development team in identifying new business opportunities, building client relationships, and driving revenue growth for the IT company. This role involves market research, lead generation, proposal development, and assisting in strategic partnerships to expand the company’s client base and market presence.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Business Growth & Strategy
- Assist in developing and executing business development strategies to achieve revenue targets.
- Identify and research potential clients, market trends, and emerging opportunities in IT services (e.g., software development, cloud solutions, cybersecurity, AI/ML, etc.).
- Analyze competitor activities and industry trends to recommend growth strategies.
2. Lead Generation & Client Acquisition
- Generate leads through cold outreach, networking, and digital channels (LinkedIn, industry events, etc.).
- Support in qualifying leads and setting up meetings with prospective clients.
- Collaborate with marketing to align campaigns with business development goals.
3. Proposal Development & Sales Support
- Assist in preparing proposals, presentations, and pitches for potential clients.
- Work with technical teams to tailor solutions based on client needs.
- Maintain a pipeline of opportunities in CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot).
4. Client Relationship Management
- Build and nurture relationships with existing and potential clients.
- Address client inquiries and coordinate with internal teams for smooth onboarding.
- Gather feedback to improve service offerings.
5. Partnerships & Collaboration
- Identify and engage with potential partners (technology vendors, resellers, etc.).
- Support in negotiating contracts and agreements.
6. Reporting & Analysis
- Track and report on business development metrics (conversion rates, revenue growth, etc.).
- Provide insights to refine strategies.
