About the Role

The Brand Manager (Residential Air Conditioner) is a commercial ownership role responsible for driving sales performance, market penetration, and brand growth of residential air conditioner products in Myanmar. The role combines sales execution, distribution management, pricing strategy, and product marketing, working closely with distributors and internal sales teams to deliver sustainable business results.

 

Key Responsibilities

Commercial & Sales Ownership

  • Take end-to-end responsibility for sales performance and market growth of Residential Air Conditioner products.

  • Work closely with distributors and dealers to ensure effective market coverage, sell-in and sell-out execution.

  • Support sales teams with product positioning, pricing logic, and commercial strategies.

  • Monitor sales performance, market feedback, and competitor activities, and propose corrective actions.

Product & Brand Management

  • Manage product lifecycle including product launch, positioning, pricing, and phase-out decisions.

  • Develop and execute go-to-market strategies, promotional campaigns, and product launch plans aligned with sales objectives.

  • Coordinate brand visibility initiatives while ensuring commercial effectiveness and ROI.

  • Ensure brand guidelines are consistently applied across sales channels and partners.

Pricing & Channel Strategy

  • Develop pricing strategies in collaboration with sales and management to maintain competitiveness and profitability.

  • Support distributor negotiations, trade programs, dealer incentives, and promotional schemes.

  • Align channel strategies to maximize market penetration in the residential AC segment.

Cross-functional Coordination

  • Work closely with Sales, Marketing, Supply Chain, and Finance teams to ensure product availability and execution excellence.

  • Provide regular reports and insights to Head of Sales on market performance, challenges, and growth opportunities.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or related field.

  • 5–8 years of experience in Consumer Electronics, Home Appliances, or similar durable goods industries.

  • Strong background in sales, distribution management, business development, or category/product management.

  • Hands-on experience working with distributors, dealers, and sales channels.

  • Solid understanding of pricing, margins, and commercial decision-making.

  • Excellent English communication skills, both written and spoken.

  • Ability to balance brand objectives with sales targets in a fast-paced commercial environment.
