•    Assist in the planning and development of new business initiatives.
•    Report to the Head of Department to support the preliminary selection of probable projects.
•    Collaborate in the preparation of regular market prospect reports for the line manager.
•    Coordinate with relevant internal departments to prepare the annual business plan.
•    Contribute to the Yearly Business Plan by providing feasible market information.
•    Collect preliminary and bidding information for selected projects.
•    Prepare investment feasibility studies for new prospective business opportunities.
•    Represent the company by attending conferences, meetings, and relevant business events.
•    Monitor market trends, maintain client engagement, and manage relationships with client organizations.
•    Compile and analyze information relevant to the company’s strategic objectives.
•    Support the Project Development/Tender Department by providing necessary data and insights.
•    Maintain strong professional relationships with client personnel.
•    Stay updated on industry developments through multimedia sources to anticipate prospects.
•    Remain flexible and responsive to fast-moving business requirements, including travel when necessary.
•    Manage appointments between company management, government officials, potential clients, and stakeholders.
•    Prepare and submit progress reports to ensure timely communication of business activities.

Job Requirements

Qualifications and Education Requirements

  • Any bachelor’s degree.
  • Diploma in a related field (preferred).
  • Minimum of one (1) year of experience in business development Field.

Preferred Skills

  • Knowledge in the development and construction of business strategies.
  • Excellent networking, persuasion, professionalism, and presentation skills.
  • General understanding of finance, human resources, corporate planning, risk management, and internal controls.
  • Preferred experience with infrastructure projects, including road and bridge construction.
