The Business Development Manager will support the strategic growth of Global Technology Group and its subsidiaries (e.g., GlobalNet, 5BB) by identifying new business opportunities, building partner relationships, and supporting the development of new services. This role requires strong communication skills, commercial mindset, and a good understanding of technology trends and market dynamics.
Key Responsibilities
1. Business Opportunity Development
Identify new business leads, partnerships, and service expansion opportunities in existing and new markets.
Work closely with internal teams to evaluate feasibility, prepare proposals, and coordinate execution plans.
Support the development of bundled offerings or group-level services by connecting across business units.
2. Market & Partner Research
Conduct market research to understand customer needs, competitor activities, and growth trends.
Study new technology and digital service trends (cloud, IoT, managed services, infrastructure) and assess relevance to the group’s portfolio.
Identify and reach out to potential partners or vendors to explore collaboration opportunities.
3. Proposal & Deal Support
Prepare business cases, project plans, commercial proposals, and investment decks for new opportunities.
Assist in negotiations with external partners, vendors, or clients, in coordination with legal and finance teams.
Support AGM and Head of Strategy in high-level discussions with external stakeholders.
4. Internal Coordination & Reporting
Work across departments to align business development plans.
Monitor progress of business development projects and ensure timely updates and reporting.
Maintain a pipeline of active opportunities and prepare regular summaries for senior management.

Job Requirements
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Engineering, or related field (MBA preferred).
Minimum 5 years of experience in business development, sales, or strategic partnerships (preferably in telecom or tech).
Strong communication, research, and commercial proposal writing skills.
Ability to understand and communicate technical product value at a business level.
Proficient in Microsoft Office (especially PowerPoint and Excel).
Preferred Skills
Exposure to telecom, internet services, or digital infrastructure markets.
Experience in partner/vendor engagement or B2B service development.
Strong presentation and interpersonal skills, including fluency in English and Myanmar.
Good understanding of Myanmar market dynamics and corporate environment.
