1. Business Growth & Strategy

  • Develop and execute strategic business development plans aligned with company goals.
  • Identify new market opportunities in domestic and international remittance and currency exchange sectors.
  • Conduct feasibility studies for new branch openings or agent partnerships.
  • Support digital remittance platform growth through innovative service offerings.

2. Partnership Development

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with local and overseas remittance partners, banks, and exchange agents.
  • Negotiate and manage business contracts, agency agreements, and service collaborations.
  • Coordinate with regulatory bodies and compliance teams to ensure all partnerships meet CBM and AML/CFT standards.

3. Sales & Marketing Initiatives

  • Develop marketing and promotional campaigns to attract new customers and partners.
  • Monitor competitor activities, pricing, and market trends to recommend business adjustments.
  • Set and achieve sales targets for remittance and foreign exchange products.
  • Organize customer engagement programs and corporate partnership events.

4. Performance Monitoring & Reporting

  • Track and analyze sales data, market performance, and customer feedback.
  • Prepare and present weekly/monthly business development reports to management.
  • Recommend strategies for revenue enhancement and cost optimization.

5. Team Coordination

  • Work closely with operations, compliance, and finance teams to ensure smooth business execution.
  • Train and guide sales and agent network staff on products, pricing, and customer handling.
  • Promote a performance-driven culture across all business development activities.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration.
  • Marketing, Economics, or related field (Master’s preferred).
  • Fluent in Myanmar and English (both written & spoken).
  • Minimum 5–7 years of experience in Business Development or Sales within Banking, Remittance, or Money Exchange sectors.
  • Understanding of remittance systems, foreign exchange operations, and related regulations.
  • Strong awareness of CBM guidelines and AML/CFT compliance.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Proactive, target-oriented, and able to work independently.
  • Good in Leadership and people management, Business development and negotiation, Strategic planning and decision-making, Communication and stakeholder management.
  • Understanding of financial planning concepts, sales principles and customer service practices.
  • Willing to travel for business meetings and branch visits local (or) Oversea.
