  • As the Business Support Coordinator at Scholastic International School Myanmar (SISM), your primary responsibility is to drive the operational efficiency and strategic vision of the school. In this pivotal role, you will ensure that the school's daily operations are managed effectively while aligning with the long-term strategic goals set by the Senior Leadership Team. Your focus will be on enhancing the operational framework, optimizing resources, and implementing innovative strategies that support the school’s mission to deliver high-quality education and foster a thriving learning environment. By working closely with the Director and the Senior Leadership Team, you will contribute to shaping the school’s future, ensuring that both immediate operational needs and long-term growth objectives are met with excellence.
  • The Business Support Coordinator will assist in managing marketing projects, coordinating team efforts, handling administrative tasks, and ensuring smooth communication across departments to support marketing initiatives and business goals.
  • As a strategic thinker and proactive problem-solver, you will play a critical role in fostering a culture of operational excellence and contributing to the overall success of SISM.

Job Requirements

  • Both Foreign & Local roles are available 
  • Advanced degree in Business Administration, Education Management, or a related field (e.g., MBA, MA, or similar). Or Possession of an appropriate degree, including a UK PGCE or an equivalent teaching qualification with QTS.
  • Evidence of relevant and challenging continuing professional development
  • Advanced degree in Education, NPQH or equivalent (desirable)
  • Proficiency in the national curriculum of England, with expertise in IGCSE/GCSE and/or A Levels as applicable.
  • Satisfactory police clearances from the applicant's country of origin and all other countries where they have worked, with no concerns about suitability to work with children.
  • Proven track record in senior management roles with strong experience in both operational and strategic functions.
  • Experience in an international school setting is highly desirable.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills, with a focus on efficiency and results.
  • Commitment to excellence, with a proactive and solutions-oriented mindset.
  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic environment and manage evolving priorities effectively.
