Program Design

• Designing, delivering and reviewing the program (Higher Diploma and Bachelor Program of Mechanical/Mechatronics Engineering)
• Responsible for assuring the quality of the University’s programs and in achieving the University’s strategic performance expectations for learning and teaching
• Managing the program and engaging with LJMU Academic Team, SG Academic Team, Myanmar Group and Academic Department learning and teaching professional and support services
• Collaborating with Student Service and Management Team to oversee the preparation of enrollment and program information
• Discussing the program level curriculum development and design process, including student assessment, learning and teaching approaches in collaboration with LJMU Academic Team and SG Academic Team
• Evaluating the resource requirements of the programme (including timetabling, equipment, library resources etc) and bringing resourcing issues to the Management and SG/LJMU Academic Team

Academic Recruitment and Training

• Evaluating the resource requirements of the programme (including Full-time lecturers and Part-time lecturers)
• Assigning the lecturers to the appropriate modules and getting the approval from SG/LJMU Academic Team
• Guiding the lecturers to know the University’s programs, modules and performance expectations
• Guiding the lecturers about the University’s marking system and ensuring consistency and transparency for grading of all modules
• Reviewing the lecturers’ performances in each semester

Marking, Quality Control of Programs

• Reviewing the performance of the program, on the basis of program data and course reports and ensuring the marking system and schedule of the program
• Making decisions on student admission and progression
• Contribute to Annual Programme Review as regards the monitoring and enhancement of their individual programme (s)

Students & Parents Satisfaction

• Providing academic advice to students enrolled in the program in relation to their program of study and in collaboration with Operation Director
• Monitoring student engagement, retention and graduate outcomes and addressing any identified issues
• Providing support to Lecturers in dealing with issues of student academic misconduct and collaboration with Operation Director
• Support complaints management in relation to the conduct of students in the program, course and teaching quality that cannot be resolved informally

Lecturing

• Preparing and delivering regular lecturers for students
• Conducting tutorial sessions, seminars and laboratory classes
• Guiding class discussions, debate and feedback among students
• Preparing and marking students’ assignments, phase tests and exams and providing one-on-one feedback on academic performance when necessary

Networking Support

• Supporting the Operation team by joining networking events when relevant for the school level of influence in the education space
• Ensuring the program content to ensure relevance with industry partners and supporting to Internship Team to assure the students’ abilities and intern partnership

• Ph. D Degree/ minimum Master degree in Computer Science, Computer Network Engineering, Cyber Security
• Prefer international authorized degree holders and must have teaching experiences
• Strong in Computer hardware and software, IT, Cyber Security and Engineering Skills
• Excellence in undergraduate and graduate teaching.
