Job Description

A Big Opportunity for ...

  • Read blueprints to determine the equipment needed for installation
  • Install elevator doors, cables, motors, and control systems
  • Locate malfunctions in brakes, motors, switches, and control systems
  • Connect electrical wiring to control panels and electric motors
  • Use test equipment, such as ammeters and voltmeters, to diagnose problems
  • Adjust counterweights, door mechanisms, and safety controls
  • Test newly installed equipment to ensure that it meets specifications
  • Comply with safety regulations and building codes
  • Any other tasks assigned by superior

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's university degree in engineering or related field (or) Diploma in Electronics, Electrical, Mechanical Engineering (or) related discipline or secondary education with prior relevant working experiences.
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoints)

  • Basic knowledge of English language (written and spoken)

  • Min. 1-2 years’ experience in elevator or construction or general industry in field operations.

  • Good technical skills, both mechanical and electrical, and experience in elevators/escalators.
  • Physically fit to handle / lift heavy equipment and parts
  • Well organized and with attention to detail.
  • Attentive planner, looking for continuous improvement.
  • Available to travel locally.
