Job Description

An Excellent Opportunity for ...

  • Oversee the daily operations of company vehicles to ensure timely, safe, and cost-efficient transport.

  • Develop and implement fleet management policies and procedures.

  • Plan vehicle acquisition and coordinate the disposal or resale of decommissioned vehicles.

  • Schedule regular maintenance and ensure all vehicles are roadworthy and compliant.

  • Supervise repairs and preventive maintenance to minimize downtime.

  • Prepare and manage the fleet budget, including monitoring of fuel, maintenance, and operational costs.

  • Ensure compliance with transportation laws, safety regulations, and internal policies.

  • Recruit, train, and evaluate drivers, and monitor their performance.

  • Implement and maintain a GPS tracking system to improve vehicle monitoring and optimize route management.

  • Maintain accurate records of usage, maintenance, costs, and compliance.

  • Generate detailed reports on fleet performance for senior leadership.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field (relevant experience can substitute).

  • 5–7 years’ experience in fleet management, transportation, or logistics.

  • Strong understanding of vehicle maintenance, procurement, and compliance standards.

  • Proven leadership, organizational, and communication skills.

  • Proficiency in MS Office and digital fleet tools.

  • Familiarity with transportation laws and safety regulations.

  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and enhance operational efficiency.

  • Valid driver's license and relevant safety certifications.
