HR Strategy & Leadership

  • Develop and execute a group-wide HR strategy aligned with Mandalar Hospital’s goals and JCI accreditation standards.
  • Serve as a strategic advisor to senior management on workforce planning, organizational design, and talent development.
  • Lead HR integration across multiple hospitals and clinics within the group.

2. Compliance & JCI Accreditation

  • Ensure all HR policies, procedures, and records comply with national labor laws, healthcare regulations, and JCI accreditation standards.
  • Coordinate HR support for JCI audits and maintain staff credentialing, orientation, and performance review documentation as required.
  • Lead the implementation of HR best practices related to JCI standards, especially around staff qualifications, training, and performance appraisal.

3. Talent Acquisition & Workforce Planning

  • Oversee recruitment strategies to attract qualified healthcare professionals and administrative staff.
  • Collaborate with medical directors and department heads to forecast staffing needs and manage workforce planning.

4. Training & Development

  • Design and deliver staff training programs, including mandatory JCI-related modules (e.g., infection control, patient safety, confidentiality).
  • Oversee orientation and onboarding programs that meet JCI guidelines.
  • Promote continuous professional development for all levels of staff.

5. Performance Management

  • Lead the implementation of performance appraisal systems that align with hospital values and JCI expectations.
  • Monitor staff performance trends and support line managers in performance improvement plans (PIPs).

6. Employee Relations & Engagement

  • Foster a positive work culture focused on ethics, diversity, inclusion, and staff well-being.
  • Manage grievance and disciplinary procedures fairly and consistently.
  • Conduct employee satisfaction surveys and implement feedback mechanisms.

7. HR Operations & Administration

  • Standardize HR operations across all facilities, including payroll, benefits, timekeeping, and personnel files.
  • Maintain accurate employee records, including licenses, certifications, and continuing education documentation as required by JCI.

8. Leadership & Team Management

  • Lead and mentor HR teams across different hospital sites.
  • Ensure consistent HR practices and service delivery through training, guidance, and performance monitoring of HR staff.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
  • HR Diploma and Certification are an advantage.
  • Minimum 7–10 years of progressive HR experience, with at least 3 years in a senior HR leadership role in the healthcare sector.
  • Experience working in a hospital with JCI accreditation is highly preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of HR best practices, Myanmar labor laws, and JCI HR-related standards.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in HR systems, Microsoft Office, and data-driven decision-making.
