Job Description

An Exciting Opportunity for ...

Develop and implement housekeeping procedures and standards to ensure cleanliness, hygiene, and orderliness throughout the school premises.
Manage and supervise a team of housekeeping staff, including training,and scheduling.
Coordinate with other departments, such as maintenance, facilities, and administration, to ensure seamless operations.
Conduct regular inspections to maintain cleanliness standards and identify areas for improvement.
Maintain inventory of housekeeping supplies and equipment, and place orders as necessary.
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including proper handling and disposal of hazardous materials.
Stay updated with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in the field of housekeeping.
Prepare reports and presentations on housekeeping activities, including performance metrics and improvement plans.

Job Requirements

Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent. A degree or certification in hospitality management or related field is preferred.
Proven experience in housekeeping management, preferably in an educational or hospitality setting.
Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and train a diverse workforce.
Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities to handle multiple responsibilities effectively.
Knowledge of housekeeping procedures, cleaning techniques, and equipment operation.
Familiarity with health and safety regulations and protocols.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact with staff, students, parents, and other stakeholders.
Ability to work flexible hours, as required.
